The idea for A Better Bite was in the works from age 6 for owner Debbie Jackson. She delighted in cooking as a kid for her family.

Throughout her employment with Bellsouth she continued to take courses on baby, birthday, anniversary & wedding cakes. Her hobby was growing and after much encouragement from friends and co-workers she retired and took a job as chief decorator at Rockbridge Bakery.

She was then lead to employment as Kitchen Manager at Magic Moments of Flint Hill in Norcross, Ga. It was then she realized a hobby was destined to be her first business.

She offically started A Better Bite in Lilburn, GA and grew from there. In 1998 she partnered with Allison McElvery and incorporated the business. After a couple of years she was sole owner of A Better Bite.

After much consideration she took up the offer from Eagle Greens to start the "The 19th Hole Grill at The Providence Club. Three years after owning the successful grill she decided to relinguish the contract and decided to form "Creative Occasions".

Debbie sought out the best in tuxedo rental companies and now represents "Tuxedo Central" for her formal wear needs.

We are excited about our new location at 116 W. Spring Street.

We are in the lower level of Shapes Yoga Studio, owned by Sandra Shurling. The studio boasts their in-house Wellness Center that includes the following services; Aromatherapy, Massage & Bodywork, Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, Naturopathic Medicne, Energy Light Rejuvenation, and Reflexology.
